I was looking at my AMND limited box again today, and I realised I was smiling like a child on christmas eve, opening christmas gifts! Everything about LM's records are always so beautiful in every possible way. The music, of course, I don't even have to mention that. But the layout and the cover, the booklet and the cd picture itself. Not to forget about Loreena's messages in each cd. Just by touching the box is pure happiness, haha!
I know about those childish smiles. Some days ago I was sitting in the sofa and watching "Lost in translation" on tv. I got a message from my sister (she is at my fathers place, about 800 km away ) that my idol was on tv. I got suspicious. We tease each other a lot, so my "idol" could be anything between teletubbies and Army of Lovers. - Who? - Please do not make me try to spell her name!!! :O Aha. - Why would she be on tv??? - But she is!! - Hmmm. Sure. - Fine, do not believe me! - Ha, liar. I watched some more Lost in translation (it was not very good, really). Then I took the remote and switched channel. Very hesitantly. --- Dreaaams we hold in the palm of...our hands. Oops. Loreena. Seems like they have made Alhambra annual at tv1. It was almost over, I stood in front of the tv and watched it. Smiling withough noticing it. Happy because people who have never heard of her might put on that channel and see her and find out what a treasure she is. - It was the Alhambra performance at tv. - Told you!!! - Yes..?

I have always loved how she writes about the journey on her albums, about the musical process and about how she came to that recording. It has a been a real inspiration to me.

I ordered the the cd from border's book store. i had to wait eight days after the release date to get it because i ordered the limited deluxe addition. when it finally came it felt like christmas! i had to pick it up and i couldn't wait to get home and check out all of the fun stuff inside. That was one more wonderful thing about halloween... it's not just fun, when it ends it starts the new day full of the beginning of christmas music season!!! i'm soooo excited!!!!

I almost feel like a child waiting for christmas to come... And what's even worse. I found the present! But I can't open it! It would be cheating...! It's not so exiting to know in beforehand what you get for christmas...
It gets harder for every day with all your good words and descriptions of the CD !!

My last one, is of course, the limited edition of Midwinter´s Night Dream wiht AMMF, and I still smile when I see the cover, and with the songs, there´s no doubt^^
And when I discover another CD stored, a smile comes to my face^^
