Of course, we love Loreena's music dearly! Then we listen to other great performers as well! I was watching a PBS special with Andrea Bocelli, and I saw him sing with other famous artists (and, yes, even the Muppits! )
And I was wondering...

Andrea Bocelli has a very nice voice and I think a perform with Loreena will be beautiful...but Andrea not is very celtic......is more classic.....so I don't know....Is better Brenduardi or Battiato for Loreena....yes..

It would be a bright idea, indeed. Or it would be a wonderful collaboration between Loreena Mckennitt and one of the best voices ever, Sharon Den Adel. Other excellent collaborations would be with Lisa Gerrard, Sarah Brightman or Secret Garden for example.

One artist collaboration, would be with fellow Canadian: Gordon Lightfoot.

Gordon is a terrific songwriter and arranger and he and Loreena could make more than interesting duets with Gordon's:

- Carefree Highway;
- Seven Island Suite and
- Especially the "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" with it's incredible guitar lick and celtic feel.
