Did anyone else notice how clueless the KOCE anchor's were about LM and the music? About 80% they mis-pronounced her name McKennick, McKenta, Lorraina. LOL: This gave us a chuckle. What a wonderful concert - having seen LM many times live - I have to say she appeared more relaxed and in great form.

Most of the Los Angeles Hotels don't have very good news stations. It's very unfortunate because L.A. is such a busy place and they have such wonderful news coverages. I wish the hotels played KOCE. Does anyone know if they do or not.

Haha - yes, I remember, and you could tell they really had no idea and had done no research on her...yet, you could tell they were impressed by her music and concert.

Greetings from California, again.

After pondering Loreena's music a bit more...I think it would be more than interesting for her to include some ancient bagpipe music....perhaps, some highland bagpipe. Even the light music with the dance quality to it, would lend itself to her Celtic roots. What do you think? Perhaps a more richly painted Scottish palette would create a whole new, future concert theme?

As a matter of fact, on our KVCR station, the moderators seemed somewhat clueless as well, but, in return, they were quite in awe of Loreena and her accomplishments. It was clear from the questioning that such queries were heartfelt and completely from a naiive position. Loreena articulated with ease and aplomb, which only added to the overall calming, mystifying and nearly intoxicating ambience of the show. What an amazing musician she is, and her co-musicians.
