Yes, plenty of us made it to concerts and thus purchased the DVD/double CDs set. But most around these parts did not, and many here do not yet know of Loreena and Quinlan Road. I found it very odd, that last time it aired, it was nearly 'hidden' while in other areas it ran early in their fund raisers, often two, even three times! So, people knew to look for it.

Just wanted to let everyone who didn't make it to a concert to LOOK at their PBS schedules carefully for the next two or three weeks, maybe sign up for an 'alert' (not hard to do on the Great Performances website to which I do not have a link (sorry) as to when the program is to be aired within your viewing area.

Not all the 18 songs from the DVD are shown on the telecast, and for my part, the sound left something to be desired (I do not have a DVR set-up or digital high-definition TV, but only a VHS means of taping) but I found it quite worthwhile; I'm keeping my tape along with the DVD/double CDs set (which sound WONDERFUL) I purchased in Asheville due to the interviews Loreena gave during the many intermissions. I felt the ones aired 'down here' were quite nice!
