The concert last month in Oakland CA was amazing! Loreena is truly a musical genius. Her vocal and instrumental artistry as well as her dedication to the historical aspect of her music is so impressive. Is there now or will there be a DVD with some of the same music - particularly songs with prominent violin and cello parts and camera shots of the performers? I'd like to share the experience with my family who weren't able to be at the concert - one of whom is almost 13 and taking violin lessons. Hugh Marsh and Caroline Lavelle (plus all the other wonderful instrumentalists) are fantastic. I used to play the cello professionally and worked with many different artists over the years. It was rare to perform with someone like Loreena, who is so generous in sharing the stage and spotlight with the musicians. She's a great musician and a great lady.
