I'm from a very small town in Alaska, United States. It's so cool to be able to meet people from around the world who also like Loreena McKennitt's music. I'm 25 although I sometimes feel like a little kid and sometimes very old. I work at a store. I study all sorts of things like music and religion and bizarre metaphysical things like magic and I love all ancient and arcane wisdom. I discovered LM's music when my mother brough it home from a friend and I instantly fell in love with it. I haven't seen Loreena in concert though I did have a dream where I met her and saw her band !! My favorite journey would be any mystical one. My favorite words are the lyrics from The Mummer's Dance, "And so they linked their hands and danced..." Etc.

My favourite lyrics are also from The Mummer's Dance, it's such a wonderful song! I adooore it! It was the first song form Loreena I discovered en I've listened to it every day since..
I have been reading many of your topics. You sound like a very interesting person to know. And I'm glad I have met you here
I also want to thank you for your nice answers to some of my writings on this forum.
I hope to see you some day, maybe at a concert or something...
Take care
Many wishes

Wow, you went to Interlochen! You must be fairly talented musically. If you ever meet Jewel, you two would have a couple of things in common: Living in Anchorage and going to Interlochen. Josh Groban went there, too!
As far as storms in Michigan, it wouldn't be summer without a few big thunderstorms. I actually like to stand out on the porch and look for a big bolt of lightning. It's amazing to think how many miles long they must be! We did have a tornado pass by a mile away from me last October. It was fairly calm near my house, but where the tornado went through, huge trees were ripped out of the ground.

Hi Dan, I used to see them much more often in Fairbanks. It's much clearer in the far North. I live near Anchorage now, and don't get to see them quite as often, though when they are out it's a treat. I didn't know there were any in Michigan!
Do you get storms there? I went to summer camp in Michigan (Interlochen) some time ago and got seriously addicted to storms there! I miss them.

Hi M&M
I am not from the north of Alaska, but my hometown is Anchorage and I'm very close to there right now. What part of Italy are you from? Earthquakes are not all that frequent here, though we do usually get a few small ones a year. Our weather has been warm this winter too and the snow just melted off our streets.
You're so lucky to live in Italy! That would be my favorite place to live, I think. So much history and architechture and culture. I got to go there on a trip and have missed it ever since, especially Florence.
Love, Snow
