Sorry for the late response to that, just checked it . I cannot say I'm a real fan of Lennons. It just happens that I have come to agree with the quote (has happened to me rather more than once!!). By the way, although not a fan of Lennon, it does happen I like some of his songs (as I like the songs of many other artists). My music origins come from classical music and that is the main genre I listen to. I do enjoy celtic, ethnic, rock, folk, medieval, renaissance, jazz (oh yes..), blues, and even some select pieces of metal and pop (yes, that too..). I do enjoy as well various genres of greek music - and I assure you they are quite a few, seeing as how greek music has an ancient but still very much lively tradition and has been influenced by many cultures (the Persians, the Egyptians, the Jews, the Arabs, the Latins, the Italians, the Turks and many more). I myself am a very ardent student of music. Although I study solfeges and theory of music (or western music as we in my branch call it), my specialisation is byzantine music, the music developed and composed in the Eastern Roman Empire. It was developed from the ancient greek music and the later evolved roman music and has a musical notation of its own, unique in the world. All the traditional songs of my nation have been composed in that music, yet now its notation and theory is used almost exclusively (however not always) in religious music. So we kind of have saved written musical tradition of 14 centuries. Not bad, I think . As you can see, I enjoy musical art in all its expressions, and I have found out that many people in music have a very accurate perspective on matters like... life!. And they do tend to be true .

Hello Robin! As for the music, sometimes the exposure will draw one into music later in life. My mother's exposing me to classical music is the reason for my love of the classics. Although I keep Kosher (for the most part I would also like to try reindeer again. My first experience with cloudberries was wonderful. I think that is what they were called. They are from Lapland. I know they are used to make a wonderful liquor. Two more days to seee Loreena...I can not wait.. Be well and enjoy! Jeff
Thankyou Jeff. Unfortunately (to my knowledge) my sons have never heard Loreena. My youngest son plays in a hardcore band (Nine) and my other son is into heavy metal. I suppose that is the way with different generations, the younger rebellious of the elder? I'm sure that Sweden would be very happy to see you again too
