Hi, I'm Miranda McKennitt

And no, I am not a blood kin of Loreena McKennitt. It's more of a spiritual sisterhood magick. Miranda is because of the character in Shakespeare's The Tempest and the band Miranda Sex Garden. I was active here a while ago, but I had a wrong attitude toward Loreena, I was making passes at her publicly and many of my posts have been FOR GOOD REASONS stopped from posting by nice moderators here. So why the introduction again? I wanted to tell you I am safe now, because I fell out of love and now my teen idol is Sharon den Adel of Within Temptation. I will not use any references to Loreena's body in my posts, so they can be let through swiftly :-)

I am in love with Loreena's Music now, to be precise. I listen to her all the time. I'm no longer attracted to her other aspects and have much more appreciation and sincere respect for her integrity as an artist and entrepreneur, sans her physical beauty. That's what I meant by "falling out of love". I was high on mushrooms when I wrote it ;-).

What do you think about the new album, Unforgiven? It grows on me with every listening. It's still Loreena McKennitt, Suzanne Vega and Within Temptation for me, with Ladytron right after WT. Those are artists which EVERY SONG is loved by me. Check out my Last.fm account (http://last.fm/agquarx).

I'm not sure I've read threads from you before, so I'm going to ask you the same question I ask every "new" one here...
How did you came to know the music of ms. McKennitt?
I can understand it wasn't "love at first sight" Big Grin Red Face

I was still well deep in psychotic state, paralyzed by alternating feelings of all filling love and extreme paranoid fear when I first saw her and consequently, heard her music in hospital. I saw her picture on the web, and I don't remember how I found her picture at all (post-traumatic amnesia) and...**fell in love with complete abandon of all reason** and bought all the albums through Amazon.com. Then I got to know her music and it clicked instantly, once the CD's arrived :-). Strange, huh? Now I carry all of her albums in form of digital files on my iPod, which is always with me, just in case I am in mortal peril again. Loreena is...I mean, Her Music is...I don't know the words to express it :-). I think it's a life-time thing for me. Unless dementia kills me before I die of unnatural causes. PLEASE RESPOND :-)

Good day all, this is a most interesting post. It has been some time since I have been here, just been that busy, but wow.

My candor has often near got me in near trouble, so to say. But I have always been one to express what I feel. Within reason.

I understand the attraction both physically and by the Karma that Loreena has about her and her craft. Yet often the less others know of us, the better oft we are.

I hope you are well....

WinkThey would rather see [FLASH_VIDEO] [/FLASH_VIDEO]personable feelings be private.I miss privacy I've accomplished alot in my life because people could keep A secret.Maybe I have less to do with certain folks because of disturbances.Have you seen signs people put on their door after checking into A motel.Do not disturb, thats all it is about respect.I'll grow stronger knowing theirs forgiveness.
