I'm Elisa von Groll, 21 years, studying biology. I'm a fan of Loreena since 2004 (if I remember correctly)! kkkk I was looking for new experiences and I found some CD's of her at home (they were my father's), but he had never heard! It did not take long for me to not stop listening; I soon began to publish translations, because here in Brazil there are many people who hear Loreena, but did not know the lyrics. The music of Loreena helped me overcome some problems I had, and I am very grateful to her! And my dream is to see a show of her, she is the best! I love LM! ♥ Greetings, Elisa

*snicker* That's from "Breakfast at Tiffany's," isn't it? And to Elisa, do you remember the harpsichordist's name? Or at least part of it? you could type in what you know into a search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.) with the word "harpsichord" and that may help... See ya around! ~Alex
Sure, I learnt it from the movie being a huge Audrey Hepburn fan :-) It's not very useful lol

Hi Audrey, my new contact on twitter! Well, actually I'm not new here, I just wanted to share what happened to me and I wouldn't create a new topic just because of this, so I posted it here I know only one sentence in French, I won't post it here, I just will say that I've learnt from the movie Moulin Rouge... (Well, I can also say "hi", "bye", "my name is"...)!

Yes, I know his name (Fernando Turconi Cordella), but I think he is not famous, maybe his career is only beginning....

I want to share something that happened with me some weeks ago. I was watching TV and I saw a regional musician that I love (he plays accordion). And I wrote on my twitter that I’d love to see him playing with Loreena (but I wrote only “LM”), and I also tagged the name of the program. And they read this on tv!!! I was shocked, and the presenter asked “What is LM” (yes, not “who”, but “what”). So I sent another message telling who “LM” is. And they said: “oh yesss, she is great!” – I was totally embarrassed!
The other musician there, a harpsichordist, was going to play another song, but suddenly he took his briefcase and chose another score, and said: “now I’ll play the song ‘Greensleeves’” – I was so happy ! I like to pretend he played the song for me ! He is really good!! But unfortunately I can’t find his email, or social page, nothing!
Warm regards!

Hi! My father had 5 cds of her, but knew only one song (all souls night)! But me?? All I can say is that I think that I know all her musics and it makes me feel a great curiosity for other cultures, it opens my mind! I love this feeling! And i love her voice - makes me feel safe !!!
Moreover, by years, Loreena McKennit was only a voice, but a few months back I "knew" the woman behind that voice, and I can say I fell in love! LOL
I always say that I would to be one tenth of what she is, because she is so strong, intelligent, talented and much more! I admire her and I love her.
LOL, it sounded more like a declaration of love... sorry!

I don't know that many Elisa's too, but the few I do know... Well I already wrote it previously.
Google translator is a nice secret, although it's no secret anymore...
I use a dictionary once a while... Google translator isn't that good at translating danish, yet. Or maybe it is better now. I haven't used it for long.

Google translator is not very good with the Portuguese too I have to arrange much that it translates! hehehe I think it's time for me to study English! hehehehe
look at this (just a joke):
"Hej! Jeg bruger google oversætter (portugisisk-dansk) kkkkk! Dansk er helt anderledes!"
It's right?? shoud be:
"Hello! I'm using the google translator (Portuguese-Danish) kkk! Danish is quite different!"

Oh, this cd is wonderful, I am upset because I only found it for less than a year! Because didn't have to sell here! So I'm just at the start of discovery of these songs, and I'm loving!
