Hell-o I'm called "Michael". First found LM music about 1999, or so. I was enchanted by the distance in the music. The lands of far long ago, and hear the songs as if they were still here today.LM research in her songs is mind blowing for me.I looked for everything that she may have for the times of her music. The Arabian Nights and Mines of King Solomn, and thr early days of the beginnigs of religions and music. The droning of her chants and intruments are a humple pie.

Welcome Beggerman. I'm fairly new here too. Hope you enjoy your time on the message board. What are some of you favorite songs of LM?

I think many here, if not all are amaced by ms McKennitts work.
I'm tempted to call her a role model. Red Face
But that would be putting her on a pedestal, and that I've got the impression she doesn't like.
Although I'm sure she's flattered... Smiler

How did you get familiar with her music?

Greetings

I feel the same way, and agree with you totally, Anxious. Big Grin
Hi, Michael. Your translation of Ms. McKennitt's music is great, and you're listening to her ever since I were 2. Big Grin Big Grin
