Anyone from Finland? I'm a 39 year old family man from Finland (Turku).

I've been a LM fan since The Mask & Mirror. I still remember how I became a LM fan. Well, I was having a party and suddenly someone opened the TV. There was a program about female (celtic?) artists and LM was performing 'The Dark Night of The Soul'. My God, I thought! And next morning (for some reason) I had some difficulties to remember her name and the song (mac, mac something, night, soul something). Anyway, I went to a record shop, and it really, really took a moment to find LM. On the same week, I bought all of the recordings.

The best thing of LM's music is her voice, it just is from Heaven!

Now I am very excited, because I have tickets to Berlin concert, 4th row Smiler

Hi Jone
I’m going to the Loreena’s concert in Berlin as well. I’ve the ticket in 15th row. If you stand up and turn back and wave just before the concert at 19.29, four Polish hands will wave back to you. Maybe others visitors of this Message Board will join us and we’ll make the great QR’s wave in Zitadelle Wink.

Hello, Jone. Welcome to the Quinlan Road Message Board. I am so glad you can join this pack of Loreenakateers. Finland sounds like a nice place and I heard that Finnish people are good at winter sports, especially when it comes to the Olympics. You know what people say, Jone, when you go into the water closet, you are Russian, but when you come out, you're Finnish. --Loreenya

Welcome to the land of McKennitt Jone!!!

Loreena does the same to me with her music and her voice. Yes, it is from heaven or somewhere other than here, so it seems. Sorry to say I am not from Finland, but my great grandmother, Gina came from Norway. Is that close enough?
Yes, it took me a few times to memorize her name and how many "e"s there are and "n"s and where the "i" goes or does the "e" goes after the two "n"s? I've got it down as good as my own name now. Dark Night of The Soul is a very passionate song and very close to my heart.
My first song I heard her sing was "All Souls Night". I wasn't paying any attention to what music was playing a my car. I pushed in a tape that had a mixture on it, the next think I knew tears were falling from my eyes and I felt my heart opening up a spot I had no idea was even there. Then her voice entered my ears and I was hooked, "This is no ordinary music" I thought, and she is no ordinary person, even though she might dispute it, I don't think she is. She is very special for sharing her talent with the world and making my life much, very much better then without her.
Enough the concert and blow a kiss to her for me if you will, thanks!!!
Peace and Love be with you always,
Gina
