Ciao Freesoul, I took basic Italian classes about 2 years ago, I’ve lost practice, but I really like this language.
Hi Dieter, thanks for the welcome. Indeed, Costa Rica has no army since 1949, because of that the country has been able to invest more money in education and health system. But I have to say that Costa Rica has many economical problems, specially related with bad administration and corruption. Ecological problems are many. In a certain way, my country has a two-faced speech. If you are interested in this, I invite you to write me at opossum87@gmail.com
Greetings!!!

Hi Opossum, a warm welcome here. The wide range of Loreena's fans through out the world is really fascinating. Yes,
it's worldmusic in the best sense! One question: Is it right that Costa Rica has repealed the army and invest the money in education and ecological projects instead? This is said in the film "Home" - to be seen on youtube and soon in the cinema
worldwide.

Best wishes
Dieter

Indeed, we still hope to have the chance to see Loreena performing here; but it is quite difficult, because Costa Rica is an samall country, and Latin America in not usually taken in count in this kind of international tours. But to be honest, i think that Mrs. McKennitt can give us a surprise one fine day. I hope she knows she´s well-known in Costa Rica...

Finally someone who says that Loreena is very well-known somewhere! It's a pleasure to get to know it. I guess all of you are waiting for a public appearance of hers in your country!?

Welcome here.

Hi Anxious, thanks for your answer! Smiler
I first meet Mrs. McKennitt’s music about 7 years ago in a radio program called “Meridiano”. Since that moment, I became even more interested in this music and all the history and magic behind. I must say that Loreena is quite popular here, so I had no problems on buying her albums.
Greetings!
