Hello! I'm Ola Marciniak, writing to you from England. I'm twelve years old. Yes, my name isn't English, it's Polish. I moved, like a lot of other Polish people right now. We're in a crisis over at Poland. I don't wanna bore you with that, though. As I were saying - Hello, and I'm joining here to meet other people who share my fascination towards Loreena's music. I find it... indescribable and wonderful.
I found out about Loreena's music about a year and a half ago, during my fixation on the computer game 'Oblivion'... Anyways, I found one of her pieces, 'The Mummer's Dance', playing in the background of a YouTube video. From then, 'The Mummer's Dance' is my favourite song ever, however all the other songs could be put into 1st place as well (Cute smiley..) Right now my number one goal is to see a L.M concert, having listened to the c.d's over a million times, I think hearing it live would be totally different...
Anyways, I said hi, now it's your turn.

She is the only artist who makes me willing for such a long trip . You are right, listening to her live is a special experience – you find yourself in magic atmosphere of her charming smile and… good vibrations. You are possessed by Loreena’s voice, by the sounds of instruments… I hope she will come to Poland one day to sing to her Polish fans, whom she has got more and more. Celtic music is popular and valued high here… Ireland is just loved… I’m going to the performance ‘ The Lord of the Dance’ by Michael Flatley in two weeks. A lot of people wants to see the performances , which are staged in several cities across Poland – organizers have had to add one more in Warsaw. Nice to meet you in this place, Oleńka. Maybe we will meet at the Ms MacKennitt’s concert in Poland one day… Jolanta
You got to see her.. twice... and you're going to see Michael Flatley as well? I want that! Anyways, nice to meet you. I guess it really must be possessing to watch one, but I can only dream. I would probably not see a concert in Poland, though, since I only visit there during my summer holidays, unless I were lucky enough to go there the exact same time as Loreena. Seeing her in England is slightly more probable.. *sigh*

Welcome to this board from I think one of the eldest here (58). Obviously it isn't a question of age to be touched by the wonderful music of Loreena, open heart is the key!
Best wishes and warm greetings from Nothern Germany Dieter

I highly doubt that you would have listened to Loreena's albums over a million times in only a year and a half! Welcome to the MB, OlaMarciniak! I guess you would have to be the youngest person to join us so far! I really like The Mummers' Dance as well, although its hard for me to pick an absolute favourite LM song! Anyway, I know that you were exaggerating, but seeing as you've listened to Loreena's music so much, you may wan to check out the thread entitled 'Let's Play a Game' in the 'General' discussion. Anyway, I'd better keep going. Hope you have lots of FUN here! BIG HUG from Jesse This message has been edited. Last edited by: Jesse,

Welcome Ola, it's great to see the diversity of ages on this board. I'm 51 myself, and have just discovered LM about 2 months ago. I discovered her through Mummer's Dance (my introduction is somewhere on the QRMB if you're interested). Anyway, I hope you will enjoy your time here with Loreena's fans.
