I first heard Loreena late in 1994 on the sound track of Highlander III, but was unable to read the credits to find out who sung the song about Bonnie Portmore, wow what a voice. I even saw the movie again and was unable to read who she was. (Remember this was long before I knew what the internet was and it would be years before I had a computer.) When the movie came out on VHS and I rented I was able to find out who she was. that weekend I was able to find a CD of hers at a music store. If it had been an LP I would have played the record into. Have since bought all her albums and finally got to see her in concert in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The first we'd been to in over 15 years. Just wish I had the means to catch another one while she's touring. When ever I'm listening to one of her CD's someone always asks "Who is that?". She has such a voice it stops people and makes them listen.
