The "local" station isn't local: It only relays the signal from Minneapolis. The other "local" station (the one that really is local, but still a ways away) won't allow it, because they "already have a good selection of niche programming." I am not able to listen to internet broadcasts -- I don't have broad-band (it costs too much right now), the cable companies will not run their cables out here and satellite is out of the question (too many trees in the way). I have to put up with 28-kbps (effective speed) dial-up service. Plus, I can connect to the 'net only during certain hours, after 8:00 pm -- have to keep the phone line open during the day-time/evening hours -- and there is no internet access at work, at least not in my department. I still have the CDs, though, and I play them when I can -- when I'm not playing something else, that is. --Artúr

Greetings, and welcome, Tassiecelt! My, but Loreena does get around, eh? I wish there were a radio station near my home that would play more of her music.... --Artúr
