Hi Laurie from Farmington Michigan. I'm Kimberly from Livonia, Michigan. Welcome to the site. I'm new to discovering Loreena and the message board. Hope you enjoy it all as much as I do. Great group of people here.

My favourite piece of music is The Old Ways.
Maybe that's why The Visit is the CD I like the most.
But it is hard to choose. So many good musical pieces by ms McK.

Hey Laurie

Michigan is a beautiful state. I have spent a good deal of time in Grand Rapids...and my son an avid, crazed Wings fan, has taken me to the Joe many times over the years!!

Go Wings!

Be well, stay in touch...and may the the angels of peace be with you and yours...

Hi Dan.

Yes, I had the pleasure of seeing her live in Ann Arbor. A very moving experience. Unforgettable! Can't wait for more.

Well I'm from that country.
Denmark is a country in Skandinavia.

One day some years ago I was with a friend of mine. I found a CD called The Visit. My friend saw me with it and suggested to put it on.
I instinctly sang along from the first tone!
I didn't know there was a straight line directly from the ear to the heart! At least it felt that way.

Music...

Hello. Yes, Michigan is in the States. I really can't say when I became aquainted with her music. I am not far from the Detroit area, and we do get some Canadian radio stations. When Mummers Dance became a bit mainstream, I think I bought all her CD's that I could locate. I have Scottish Heritage, so I grew up with the celtic sound, but I found Loreena's music magical. How about you? Where are you from?

Hi RamsClan02

Farmington MI, is that somewhere in the States?
Sorry if I'm wrong, but never heard of it before.

And of course you're welcome here. Smiler

How did you become familiar with ms. McKennitts music?
