Hi Malin,
Kosova is properly as you said not Kosovo. I'm so sorry that we color this forum with the politics, but indeed I agree that's much easier to sit in the class and discuss but we also expect the support from Sweeden too for the final status resolution.
As for Loreena I can say that she is very popular, especially Tango te Evora which an Albanian (Albanian) artist not Kosova Albanian artist ( Eli Fara) have put a lyrics and it sounds superb. And I think it's also with the lyrics in Turkish sung by Nulufer. I must admit that Loreena is a world treasure; an image of the new civilization.
warmest regards from hot Balkan( Kosova)

Hello Fahredin, welcome to the forum Big Grin
I just have to write to you, cause I noted you are from Kosovo (thats what we say in Sweden, is it Kosova??) and on school right now we have this thing that we call "International relations" and me and some friends got to work with the Kosovo/Serbia conflict. I guess it is easy to sit in a class room, discussing what will happen, but I hope it will all turn out to the best.

I can't describe the long talks we make among us about her music.

That's great. In Sweden most people just say "Who???" if one mention her. Pity, really.

Bästa hälsningar från ett snöigt Sverige!
(Best regards from a snowy Sweden!)

Nice to know there's that much interest in Loreena there. I think it would be wonderful if she could do a concert there or be part of some multi-artist assemblage to promote peace and dialogue. I think the stars would have to be aligned just right, though. I do hope Loreena does make it to somewhere reasonably near you so that you can see her.

Hello Dan
...Yes, Kosova is still in troubles with undefined Status. Thanks to US, EU and Western countries support we still exist.

Loreena is well known in Kosova especially among artists. I can't describe the long talks we make among us about her music.

I wish We could have any concert of Loreena, here to perform here in this troubled land and promote the culture of dialogue as I think the fussion of music she does is compatible with the situation in a global clashes and her art is excellent proof oc co-existance for both sides East and West misunderstanding.

with blessings
Fahredin
