Hello, Loreenakateers: It's interesting that Ms. McKennitt's music has reached to so many parts of the world and thus, so many fans, like myself, that...oh, who am I kidding, guess what, I have some great news to share with you. You would ask, "Oh, Loreenya, is it an appearance or concert of Loreena McKennitt?" I'd say "Nope." Please take a great and intelligent guess. --Loreenya

Why, thank you, Anxious 2. Maybe when Ms. McKennitt and I meet, she and I can discuss our works. I am sure she'd able to catch interest in my Iranian pen pal...
Loreenya (holding the tea pot): Would you like some more tea, Ms. McKennitt?
McKennitt: That would be great, Loreenya. Thank you. Now, tell me about this pen pal you are writing to. (taking a cookie from a saucer and eating it)
Loreenya: Well, uh, I haven't met her. She tells me she enjoys. I mean, isn't that interesting when someone lives in a country where they don't allow Western world music?
McKennitt: Uh-hum.
Loreenya: Ms. McKennitt?
McKennitt: Uh-huh.
Loreenya: Can Bahar have your autograph?
McKennitt: Well, maybe. --Loreenya

Dear Jesse: I am moving right along with "Tehran Butterfly". I do not know which genre it is, but I do love writing fantasy as well. I write spiritual fiction, as well at times some humourous works. That means I write about the metaphysical (people having visions, apparitions of saints and angels, dreams, God speaking to people and animals, etc.) and miracles. Now, you asked me what "Tehran Butterfly" is about, so here it is. It's an epic about an Iranian woman named Parvanah (she is, not surprisingly, a Shiite Muslim) who experiences miracles, visions, levitating (she did that in an empty mosque at one point) and a miraculous ability of flying and goes out into the world to bring peace between the West and Iran. In short, she is a peacemaker for both sides. I even wrote the theme song for the story. --Loreenya

You're a writer? WOW!! that's one of the things I'd love to do...fiction writing. my favourite genre is fantasy I'm actually working on a story at the moment as well: it's a four book series called The Bhækhainiad. I'm hoping to get that published one day, but its not progressing very fast, so it might not appear on shelves for several years yet. there are lots of stories about people from our world going into another world by magic, but I haven't seen many where people from another world come into ours. so theThe Bhækhainiad is about that, and how certain people are affacted by it. what is Tehran Butterfly about? what genre is it in?

I mean, like the historic city. I imagine what it would be like if Ms. McKennitt performed there. The ruins would be in the background and she'd performing live "The Mystic's Dream", which I believe is suitable for the setting. That would please my Persian pen pal very much. I think Ms. McKennitt would look cute in a head scarf. --Loreenya
Persia was a country of the ancient world located in approximately the same area as modern-day Iran and Afganistan Hope that was helpful!!!

Alright, Loreenakateers, I give up in this game, since it seems that this new fan isn't going to be here on this new forum. However, she may show up on this forum someday or maybe later. I will tell you right now: it's a young Persian woman. She told me she loves Loreena McKennitt. --Loreenya
