I consider myself lucky to live in New York. Now with Loreena coming on the 14th my 12 year wait to see her again will be over. I feel blessed. I hope everyone has been as deeply affected as I have been by Loreena's music. There is too much to say. May everyone find kindness, joy and simcha in their travels. G-d speed!

This will be the title of my up-in-coming poem. For now I can write again!
My heart was pounding in syncapation with my stride as I strode from my Chelsea apartment in Manhattan. The juxtaposition of antisipation or excitement with uneasiness filled me. Excitement for a 12 year dream was about to be actualized yet uneasy dread for I carried the desire with me for so long. I arrived over 2 hours early to find myself in the center section of the second row. A plethara of people were on the 4th floor of the B&N bookstore. There were people from Canada and the US there (not just New Yorkers). I spoke with a couple of teachers of English as well as a performer/financial analyst for JP Morgan. I even made a business call...just to remain calm while waiting for LM. Then about 7:00 PM she made her grand entrance...herself and two other people. She is as unassuming as she is tallented. She thanked everyone and played three songs. Afterwords, she signed people's cd's and memorabilia. I was able to meet her, shake her hand, tell her how important her music is to me (although my ability to form cojent sentences suffered), and get my picture taken with her. It was a memory I will cherish for many years to come.
