Hello again everyone!

I guess I'm having a philophical period of my life...

And perhaps a bit morality too...

I have been thinking a lot about respect these days.
Maybe the problem with respect is that we have so many ways to communicate today.
I'm affright we are taking it for granted that in this world of communication of course we are all capable to communicate.
But when do we actually get together to meet eachother in person?

Maybe it is only here in DK I see it becoming a problem. But I got a feeling it is worldwide.

Is it possible to be nice to someone you don't realy like without the respect?
I meen you can still treat that someone nice eventhough you don't like the person if the respect is there.

I find it very remarkable that with so many ways to communicate, we somehow forget how to do the very same.

As I said at the beginning I'm having a philophical period of my life.
So you don't necessarily have to reply, unless of course you'd like to add something.

Sincerely

Anxious

Anxious, we're on the same page.

I have always regarded 'Time' as linear and a 'constant'. It is not a variable, by terms scientific.

It is the 'people' or 'beings' on any given 'time-line' that are responsible for creating the changes and the unique 'essence' or ambience.

'Thought is energy', so as the people move into different states of 'thought processes', this changes the whole identity of humanity's growth, as well as affecting the energy signatures of other beings relative to us.

I have a very scientific mind, apart from my being artistic.

Kind regards,
Shan

We don´t respect anything in our actual world...we don´t repect other people or, even, ourselves. But we also don´t respect our planet, nature, animals... It seems that repext is not included in our actions.

This is weird...

Just as I start writing/thinking about communication, a danish paper starts to take an old issue up again.
Back in 1980 a man made a campaign called "Har du snakket med dit barn i dag?" Translated: "Have you spoken to your child today?"
I didn't know about that campaign until I read the paper yesterday (it was though the paper of the day before yesterday, but I hadn't read it yet).

Maybe that's why my parents have talked a lot to us girls and we all doing things together as we were growing up.
Or maybe they loved us so much and therefore spent a lot of time with us.
When being together you start talk, eventually.

I might ask them!

By talking with our children they learn how to act and communicate with other people.

So as I read in the paper the problem is, at least here in DK, that many don't have the time or maybe take the time to talk to their children.
And it isn’t enough to ask how their day was passing by the door to their room. You have to take the time to sit down and hear what the child answers. And it doesn’t have to be a spoken answer. It could just be the body language talking.

My thoughts aren't necessarily right.
I do not have children myself yet, so maybe I'll be wiser as I one day will have some of my own.

Yes Anxious, respect is fading, I see it just about everywhere I go and I hear it in music, I see in movies, on tv and even on the road.
The wise women lived with respect as one of their highest creeds to live by along with love and honor.
I see respect Loreena has for herself, her music, and her fans and one of the many reasons I love her. Oh! How I love her!!!

Hello, Anxious 2. Yes, I have to agree with you. Of course, there is a lack of respect in all aspects in the universe and without a doubt, it is an issue. Besides lack of respect for elders, including parents, there is lack of respect for the precious gift of life, like abortion, euthanasia and state-sanctioned execution. People do not respect others around them or property. When I think of respect, I think of the classic disco song "R.E.S.P.E.C.T" by Aretha Franklin. I recommend you listening to this song. I see that too many people are outspoken. --Loreenya
