you can ask for the movie and wait for it to come. Then, you pick it up at the library. I will check the movie out and see
if the Lady of Quinlan Road is actually on it, but I don't if it's really Loreena McKennitt. It doesn't look like the
Loreena we know.
Remember that the movie is old. People changes in their looks, so also Loreena.
Just look at the "The visit" videos at Youtube (the interview, Mask and Mirror put up the link on the message board). I
am sure that's Loreena in "Heaven on earth". Hugs Malin Hey, Malin: I did see "Heaven
on Earth" over Christmas break and it was very sad movie, but the music was beautiful and of course, it was written by Loreena
herself. She did appear in the movie actually...I say approximately eighty-five minutes into the film and ninety-five minutes.
I remember her saying in the film when she was travelling with another man after a boy asked them a favor for another
small handicapped boy: "It's not much to ask, Herbert. Deaf and dumb. Think of it if it were you." Loreenya

quote: This
discussion of Ms. Loreena McKennitt being a goddess makes me uneasy
I do humble apologize for not
making this clear: I see the same personality traits in Loreena in Corn Mother and Kwan Yin, not to say she IS Corn Mother
or Kwan Yin, those rolls are already filled. I haven't seen any violent tendencies in her that would cause her to fight
big battles such as Joan of Arc did. Is this a better way of saying it? Loreena is a perfect example of a living Corn Morther,
Kwan Yin, Demeter, Hecate, Iktoma, Nana, Bridgit (or Brigit or Brigid), and Amaterasu. I hope that clears things up. We
can only strive towards being better humans and the goddesses help me on my journey (never-ending it seems), and I see them
in Loreena too. Which goddess is close to you? Bright Blessings, Gina

see her as a rare woman that share these gifts with us to reflect those gifts with family, friends, and anyone we meet. May
love fill your heart, Gina
I know exactly what you are referring too Gina. I feel Loreena is
a woman with great motherly qualities, I know that on my journey to paganism Loreena has "walked" with me much of the way.
She also has fed my interest in the religions and culures of the world, and I blame her for my tons of books on greek, mesopotamiam,
celtic, and roman history. Blessed Be )O(

role for her. Why not if she could play St. Joan of Arc (even though she will have to say "Pardon my French" when she can't
speak French)or perhaps even better--the legendary Lady Godiva? Other ideas I have are Queen Guenevere, "the Lady of Shallott",
Lady Macbeth (if you are looking to reflect Loreena's dark side), a fairy, a fairy tale character, a scullary maid or a beautiful
red-haired princess who falls in love with a brave knight.
I am sorry Loreenya but I am curious
why such a discussion would make a person uneasy. Oh well, certain things bother some people no harm done. Blessed

okay so I'm babbling a bit but it was just a thought that came to mind...
Uh, pardon me, LoreeanMcKennittFan,
but the politically correct title is "Heaven on Earth", not "Heaven and Earth". Moreover, I would say that Ms. McKennitt would
look stupendous in a movie now. I would prefer her to see her play as one of the main roles. What I have mind is an angel,
sent by God to sing for weary souls, because to us, she is an angel! May our merciful God bless His beautiful child, Loreena.
