Hi dlaws99! The shirt Loreena was wearing looks to me like a Dallas Cowboy shirt, but I LOVE the guy (can't remember his name) with the wig and electric tape and those way too tight pants...cracks me up every time! I have watched Super Dave and only saw K D Lange on there, so sorry I missed Loreena, hope her back healed from that little stunt and did you noticed she played "Greensleeves" the old boring way, not the Tom Waits way. You are right about "Gates of Istanbul" I loved it too and as for "The Highwayman" I fell in love with him all over again... Elcectic Celtic on... (doesn't seem the same as rock on. I'd rather elcectic Celtic anyways!) "In your heart, in your soul, did you find peace there," Gina

Right a few hours ago I saw, by chance, the Grateful Dead written in a badge on a store's racks, with no CDs on sale. I thought: How careless I have always been! I could have seen it before!

Betty,
To others: I have given Betty explanation in Italian as to what Dennis and I were talking about in this thread! Sorry for speaking Italian!

Thank you very much, Dennis; I hoped to get an answer, since I really do enjoy knowing anything related to Loreena. So, it isn’t a Canadian saying! Without your help, I could never have understood, given my total musical ignorance. It’s a miracle even that I know Loreena… Anyway, funny her words…she gives proof of her being enjoyable one more time! And of course let’s hope to be able to follow the Grateful Dead’s example…for at least next 40 years!!

An old hippie band from the 60's San Francisco who were only pretty good to begin with (IMHO, I know I'm gonna get beat up for this...sorry, I never really liked them), but who had (and still has I guess) a hard core dedicated following, many of who have gone to every concert for 40 years. That's what Loreena was referring to. http://www.dead.net/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grateful_Dead
