Hi all!! next week I will go in Ireland for a trip, and I intend to visit part of County Monaghan.
In the liner notes of "The mask and mirror" I read that Loreena says that it is an ideal location for a visual interpretation, with its lakes, forests and rolling countryside, of the song "The Bonny Swans".

County Monaghan is not too small...so, can you give me more information about this spot of this County? How can I go there from Dublin?

I wish we had time enough to see Riverdance! I saw it in January when they came to San Diego and it was AMAZING!!!!! I wish we had gotten to see it again. Although my dad is not exactly fond of that sort of thing...but even so, he could've gone to a nearby pub while Mom and I watched the show. Oh, well. I can't wait to go back again with friends!

I'm not entierly sure what specific part of the county Loreena was referring to, or even if there was one. I always assumed she meant the general countryside of that part of the world...

I'm not exactly sure...but if you're in Dublin long enough, Riverdance is playing at the Gaiety Theatre until 28 August! I've seen it live, and I wish I had the opportunity to see it in Ireland! But for travel in general, make sure your car has a good shift and that you have a good GPS device! If you need any recommendations let me know!
