Hello forum folks! A lovely day in Svealand today, with hard winds and minus five degrees. (The winds reminds me of the tip to make a "wind harp" (or so I think it is called). I read about it on some harp page on internet.)
The reason why I feel so happy today is that yesterday, I went to the library and searched for a book with music for irish folksongs. I found "Celtic fake songs" (does the word "fake" have more meanings than "not real"?) and scored really high. I found the music for Raglan Road, come by the hills, Cerrickfergus, She moved through the fair, and some more - my favourites, which I've been looking for a very long time
Greetings to all musicians and music-lovers!
Malin

Skipping rudely to a whole new subject... I have to choose which of these subject I shall have in school next year: Music Dancing Drama Drawing Which one shall I take?? I've never danced before, that could be something new and interesting...but I love both music and drawing.. What do you think?
Hi Malin, If you plan on going in to law, drama might be a good choice. Mona

I can just scrub her and her slick auburn hair, file her nails and comb her hair. Don't forget the cucumber scrub and the cozy pink bathrobe that people buy as part of the Susam Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (Ms. McKennitt would love that, since the robe is purchased for a good cause).

Hahahaha, that was hilarious, you really made me laugh! Actually, this winter, where I live in the north regions of Sweden, it hasn't been colder than about -25 degrees this winter. Last winter, we got snow in october and at least -35. The old people keep whining: The winters was faaar more colder before, faaar much more snow! Hey, for me it is enough with two metres of snow. But I was born in the south of Sweden, of course...

Myself (Natalie): "Oh, by the way, Ms. McKennitt, we have a blue plate vegetarian special on the menu tonight: Stuffed Cabbage with Mushroom and Rice filling, no meat."
McKennitt: "Well, that will save me a couple of loonies. I'll take that one, Loreenya, thank you very much."
Myself (scribbling on notepad): "One Stuffed Cabbage coming right up. Well, my Ladyship, I will be back in a jiffy."

I'm trying to imagine all of this if we'd all be stuck on a deserted island together.
I wonder what cave Loreena would be hiding in.

Loreenya, maybe the smell of food would bait her out

Couldn't you have lent some of that winter to Denmark! It hasn't really been winter this year.
I love the winter so very much. Not just that it might snow. But the view on a very frosty day, when the dim has frozen and covers everything. That is beauty.
The only time it actually snowed this year was on the coldest day of the year, February 2. But it melted as soon as it touched the ground...
Hope you didn't freeze your toes off overthere...
Take care.
Anxious 2
Hpoing it will be winter next year

No...I don't think so. Out of the sense of friendship that I have I think I'll let it slide. Maybe someday if Loreena and I get to sit down and have a chat over lunch or something, I'll ask her about it, but this is not the place...
Can I bring the chicken and veggies? *Eyes Dennis*

Don't mind me Dennis, it's just one of those days.
I'm sure!!! I'm amazed you folks up there in the Great White North aren't stark raving mad by the end of February and it's still snowing. It's why I left Cleveland. At Christmas it's magical. By the end of Jan it was getting a little much, by the end of Feb I was praying for someone to kill me. And I was a hockey player too! It does make you appreciate spring that much more though. I think of Loreena in Morden. That's only 15 minutes from North Dakota and it gets seriously cold there. How cold you ask? It gets SO cold, your voice freezes and you have to pick it up off the ground and carry it inside just to hear what anybody is saying.............sorry....that's an ancient joke....
Aye, I see you pretty well much understand the situation here. Quite frankly, I've had it with shovelling snow. I love the sun tremendously, and there just doesn't seem to be enough of it during the winter, and this winter has been a tad grueling for us, as it's really felt like two winters in one.
So as not to lose my sense of optimism towards this season, I like to take brisk walks on the nearby mountain.
I must admit that today's morning was beautiful with the sun rays streaming through trees and my windows. Now it's beginning to set...

Please tell me about what you mean! I must have missed it. Little clever Malin, who is not used to chat windows, instantly clicked a button which cleared the chat window from the words before she had got to read them...
Love, Malin
