I was listening to The Book of Secrets recently. when Marco Polo came on, my dad started humming along with it, and he was making some weird sounds that sounded like a didgeridoo (traditional australian instrument for those of you who don't know what that is), and it actually sounded really good! for those of you familiar with me and my posts, you'll know that I'm always leaving subtle (and not-so subtle) hints asking Loreena to come down to Australia on her next tour. one of them went something like this:
quote:
Loreena, please come to Australia soon! who knows? maybe you will be inspired and come up with an awesome idea for a new song? I know it's unlikely that the celts originated in Australia, but there are certainly a fair amount of us aussies who have celtic ancestry (including myself) and we do celebrate St. Patricks day!
okay, now I'm coming up with silly excuses, but do you get my drift? we miss you and would love a concert!
turns out, that excuse may not have been as silly as I thought! I think Marco Polo would sound awesome with a didgeridoo playing along...what do you all think? (Loreena, if you read this, I would love to know what YOU think)...This message has been edited. Last edited by: Jesse,

you are correct, Anxious 2
Gina, I'd love to hear it as well!

Jesse! The didgeridoo would create more depth to Marco Polo, I'd would love to hear it in the song. The didgeridoo is a healing instrument, and I was tempted to buy one just for that reason. The vibrations that is sent through the tube and into the body has a cleansing quality similar to drums. I love it!!! Walk with Beauty, Gina
