I wonder if we could share our reading habits with one another. I am reading at the moment a book by Amanda Elyot called By A Lady it's about an actress who is mysteriously transported back to Jane Austin's time who is a die hard fan of hers. (interesting) What has been your favourite books that you have read?

See you!!^^
You're welcome Lilymaid!!! Let me know how you like the book!!!

Thanks for the titles that people recommending. I hope to read a few ones.
I would to share with you a very special book for me: 'Lost Horizon'. It give me a lot of peace and confidence each time that I have readed it, and I have done this 4 o 5 times.
I'm hoping to start reading The Redemption of Althalus by David Eddings soon. I've also read 3 other fantasy series by him: The Belgariad, The Malloreon and The Elenium. he is a fantastic author. I'm not really reading any books at the moment, but I do have several stories cooking in my head which I would like to get written and published someday. one is about a UK-based band who get transported to another world, another is about a sorceress who tries to invade our world, another is based on norse mythology and follows the tale of Andvari's ring (I've even put a tribute to Loreena McKennitt in there by basing part of that story on The Bonny Swans! ), and the last is about a plane that crashed into another world and the five surviving passengers try to find a way back home. I would love to hear any feedback on these ideas. also, I would love to hear what people's favourite genre is as well as book.

I love reading books about the history of the witches, and then you realized that they were only intelligent women. I´ve read a book about a particular episode in the history of catalonia, in XVII century, that was a really serious drought, and several women were burned to be the "withc" that caused all this natural problem, with the only acusation of a neighbourhood murmuration and, obviously, with no real prove. There are many books about witches history in my country, but i love specially "Viladrau witches" and "The century of the witches, XVII" But one of my little obsession is the world of the fairies. A month ago I read a book called: "Field Guide to the Little People" But unfortunatelly, i found several mistakes about the fairies of spain, but fairytales are always changing and you find hundreds of versions about a single history, and it´s nice finding a new version. Here is a few list of my favourite books: -The book of fairy and folk tales of ireland-- compiled by W.B. Yeats -The Folk tales of Scotland--Norah and william montgomerie -Canigó- Jacint Verdaguer -Atlàntida-Jacint Verdaguer -The house of Bernarda de Alba-- F.G.Lorca -All Shakespeare plays, specially King Lear -All king Arthur´s literature -Wuthering Heights-Emily Bronte -All Jane Austen works -Homer´s Odissey................
Thanks!!^^

I'm reading "Häxornas Försvarare" by Jan Guillou. Translated to english the title is "The Defenders of the Witches" (or something like that). I think it is facinating that the reason for stalking the witches in the 1500-1600 is not quite the same in Sweden as in Denmark.
Anxious
Greetings Anxious 2!!! You've got me interested, what are the different reasons for stalking the witches between Sweden and Denmark? I'm going to read "Change Your Mind Change Your Life" by Mr. Ahmen. I heard it truly works and when I went to get it from the library, I had to order it and I was number 219th in line for the book. It must be something good. Blessed Be, Gina

1. The Darkangel, Meredith Ann Pierce. I've read it a houndred of times, but I'm so in love with that book. It's about the girl Aeriel who wants revenge on the darkangel who kidnaped her friend. She has a hard time trying to kill him, though. The most evil guys tend to be the ones with the best looks
2. Teach yourself to play the folk harp, Sylvia Woods. Alright, I haven't got a harp yet, but I like the book... ;D
3. Divina Commedia - Inferno, Dante Alighieri. Really takes the time to read, it's old Swedish...
4. The Canterbury tales, Geoffrey Chaucer. Have only read the prologue so far, but it is "lighter" than Inferno, so to say.
Since I started the gymnasium, I have almost only had time to read school books, but now I seem to have found a balance, and can do more things.
Hey, I heard some rumours about Loreena writing a biography. Could anyone please tell me more about it, if you know?
Love Malin
