Hello !
just a few words to tell you that I have just discovered a Spanish folk group called Milladoiro. Well, I have just discovered them, but they have been playing in Spain, UK, France, USA, Japan... since the 70´s !!
They are from Galicia, so their folk music is celtic music, wonderful traditional music (pipes, guitars, harp, flutes, violin, bouzuki, etc)
Listening to them is a great pleasure and, in some way, they bring to mind Loreena´s music and her band: the music, the instruments (the boy who plays harp is terrific!)
You should listen to them. Their albums can be found everywhere in Spain; for those of you in UK, Italy, France or USA, it´s not difficult to find their albums in stores.
This is my musical suggestion for this summer.
