In response to “What music has been in your player beside McKennitt?” I’ve noticed several comments such as “95% Loreena” or “nothing but Loreena” so I got to wondering… in my case I still like a wide variety of music, but I find I would always just rather listen to LM. I never tire of it. So here is a question:

LM is just one of many artists I enjoy.

 

I love listening to Loreena as often as I can. I am a sponge in the respects that I absorb rhythms and the emotions of the song which affects me, so I have to be careful not to project any negative emotions to those who are around me. That is one huge reason I love listening to her.
My emotions or need to change that feeling is the drive to choose the music or a paticular song to listen to so I can get back in a wonderful space.
I feel more a need to participate in playing music now then just listening.

I try to balance my music. . rock and pop, classical, celtic. Loreena is one of many artists I listen to. Each artist has a significance due to their lyrics, musical style, or the quality of the music. Some I hold more important than others. Loreena is one of the more important, in the top 5 of my favorites. Given the plethora of music I have on hand, that is a high place to be. . but sometimes, there is just something that only Celtic music can fulfill, that reaching back in my ancestory and lineage that only that Genre can fill. Loreenas music is at the top of my list. It gives me balance and perspective in this hard running fast paced world, and helps keep me where I should be.

There are so many different kind of music. And in each genre there are good and bad musicians.

ms. McK is definitely the best in her area of the music.

I think it depends very much wich mood I'm in, wich music I listen to.

If "hearing inside the head " is counted,I have to change my vote...I voted half-time, but for sure is far more than this!

I voted for the first one Not always as in always, but far mroe than half of the time. You understand?

Loreena's music tend to slip in everywhere during the days. Either I play the cds, or just hear the songs in my head (VERY common) when I am doing nothing special, or I sing myself (does not sound good, but cheers me up), or I play her songs on the piano. Pure love.
