Two nice things arrived today. To begin with: when I woke up this morning, the landscape outide my window was covered with a thin layer of snow. The lake reflected the sky and the dark woods like a perfect mirror... Of course, the first snow tend to melt away, we'll just see if it will still be there tomorrow.
I was half expecting the snow to come, I was not very surpriced. With the simple explanation that I sat up late yesterday, writing on a new novel called "Mr Winter". Hahaha... I had snow and ice in my head when I finally went to sleep. (When my USB cable does not hate me anymore, I will post some pictures )
The other thing that arrived was a small package from CDON, containing...tatata: A midwinter night's dream. (When I listened to it, my three-year old little sister sat beside me, and after a little while she pointed at the "Mask and mirror" poster at my wall, and said in a language that resembles Swedish pretty much: denne bätte (=den är bättre, that one's better). Myself, I love Loreena's new recording. Maybe the winter won't be so long and cold after all, when we have something to keep us warm in the darkness...
Blessings Malin

Interesting colours for a witch... blue kimono and pink rice paper parasol.
I don't know why, but I had a picture of Einstein before my eyes, as I read "mad scientist". Tried to imagine for a short moment how that battle between the pink-blue witch and Einstein would look like... But then the hostile takeover kind of messed the Einstein-view... The word "mad" got a different meaning in my head.
Take care too.

Well, I guess we are about to have some snow for the first time this year. However, much too early for October. Anyways, greetings, Jesse and Anxious, my fellow Loreenakateers. So far, my next story takes me to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where a Jewish mermaid, Rebecca, swims far from her fundamentalist community and is taken in by a Chinese biologist with whom she falls in love. Once at the scientist's apartment, the mermaid befriends a lovesick talking rubber ducky residing in the apartment bathroom. (As a matter of fact, Loreena McKennitt's name is mentioned among the celebrities who would possibly show up in the bathroom and I shall send the excerpt of that soon.) Enter Madame Tomaguchi, a lazy housecleaning witch from Yokohama, Japan, clad in a blue kimono and flies via a pink rice paper parasol and helps Rebecca get her human legs. While mermaid, scientist, witch and rubber ducky search for the mermaid's sister who happens to be a genie, they battle a mad scientist bent on his hostile takeover of Kuala Lumpur and eventually the world. But you know, I am not done. Take care, y'all.

A good 5cm of snow in White river (Of winnie the poo fame) in northern ontario on sunday. I'm now in edmonton AB and the snowbirds are all heading south in formation.
I awoke today and found the frost perched on the town, It hovered in a frozen sky and gobbled summer down.
I like that..."not on my favourite list, she's hovering above it!" I might use that sometime! Who have you been convincing to listen to her? I try to do that with my friends as much as I can. I've got two people in mind to introduce her to next...*rubs hands together, plotting*
Hey, now that Malin's back I'm wondering what has happened to Gina now...Any ideas anyone?
Lots of hugs to you too, Malin!
Luv Jesse

Oh, didn't realize I was so much older than you ;D And I will be there... in my mind.
And yes, freesoul, it's so serious, I'm walking around in my mother's yellow coat from the 80's and a Boy George hat, singing Milli Vanilli and Modern Talking songs. It comes and goes for me, I'm a chameleon X)
But of course I still love Loreena - like I always say, she's not on my favourite list, she's hovering above it (wow, literally, that sounds hilarious= - and I carried on my mission as a messanger in Stockholm, I think I convinced some people to take a listen to her. ^^
I fought the bugs bravely and was victiorious 8) Thank you
Oh, I have to go back to work now, I'm just home on my lunch break.. so lots of hugs, see you soon!

I'm alive - they say it's gonna rain but I'll survive! (Hazell Dean - They say it's gonna rain)
HELLO!
Uh *wipes away the dust* long time no see. The last weeks in school before summer was CHAOS and then I started working immediately afterwards, and the last one and a half week I was doing volunteer work at the Pride Festival in Stockholm. I could name many excuses indeed XD I also had a very serious case of grave 80's fever which I will probably never recover from. ;D
I have been writing of course, a lot, on different stuff to get a little distance from my love child, "The Stormbird's wings", so now I'm planning to pick it up soon again. And then you know, become world famous. Or? No? Haha.
Also, I've turned 18 :3 I bought my very first pack of cigarettes (for a friend, mind you) but they didn't ask for my ID -_- I was disappointed.
And just loooook at the time, now I have to go back to work, but I'll be back, so Miss me blind, my dear Loreenatics!!

I'll drop her a line and see what she says. It's not like she has no computer time or anything; she commented on an artwork I posted this week (check it out, it's based on Samain NightClickHere), she probably has lots of homework or something...she is still a student, remember.

I guess that means she's sorry. I've been missing her...what about you, Anxious?
Very much. And her stories...
If you read this Malin, you'll know you're missed. I hope you're ok up there in Northern Sweden - survived the bug-attacks... (I read there are unusually many insects up there this summer.)
Walk with beauty (was almost to spell it 'buty'! )
