I would like to wish everyone here a happy and festive Samhain!!! My plans changed, no spiral dancing this year, still, I am going to a friend's house to celebrate what this year has brought and what it has taken away. I still need to say "goodbye" to my friend's mother who I loved very dearly. She passed in June and I miss her. Tomorrow is the perfect day for that. She was a kind and gentle soul and she loved listening to Loreena as well.
Happy New Year as well!
Love,
G

I much prefer Samain to Halloween. Mostly because I can't stand all that disgusting "trick or treat" rubbish, but also, I supposse, because Samain is the original festival, and Halloween only evolved from it. I prefer the otherworldly aura of Samain to the ghosts and goulies, hauted houses, creepy pumkin faces, and other sorts of cumbersome clutter that one finds on Halloween. I am a big fan of Celtic Mythology as well!

Just my opinion! If anyone here is completely in love with Halloween (but why would you be?), don't let me spoil it for you...

Hugz

A happy Samhain to you too Betty!!! I am planning on going to Gaia's Temple and dance the "Spiral Dance"!!! It's my favorite dance. This is my favorite month and favorite holiday to celebrate! It's the perfect time to honor your foremothers and forefathers and rejoice in all the blessings this year has provided.
Many blessed blessings for the new year and many wonderful Loreena cds to listen to!!!
Gina
