Hello everyone, We're excited to announce Loreena's new tour documentary DVD, A Moveable Musical Feast. I apologize for not bringing this to your attention sooner - we've been pretty busy coordinating new projects while launching Loreena's summer tour. We hope you enjoy it! Best regards, Stacey
A Moveable Musical Feast is a unique souvenir of Loreena McKennitt’s 2007 An Ancient Muse tour and offers a rare backstage look at one of contemporary music’s most interesting live performers. Through candid interviews with Loreena, her band, crew, fans and professional colleagues from the Canadian music industry, we gain insight into her career, work ethic and the artistry that has been the foundation of her remarkable musical journey. Loreena and her fellow travellers entertain us with stories of how her show ‘goes up’, discuss the joys and challenges of their nomadic life when ‘on the road’ and share their thoughts on the creative relationships they have with each other, the music and the audience.
A Moveable Musical Feast features 25 minutes of previously unreleased musical performances. From a vantage point even better than a front-row seat, we join Loreena and her musicians centre stage and observe the musical alchemy first-hand as they perform “The Highwayman”, “Never-Ending Road (Amhrán Duit)” and “The Gates of Istanbul”.
Includes 3 previously unreleased live track (61 minutes)

Hi QR, in the credits list of this DVD I have seen the name 'Manoir Hovey', which is a very beautiful Quebec's inn. I'd like to know if the scenes of Loreena and her musicians sitting together to talk about videochats and other ways to be in touch with families and so on have been taken there (Sept 2007 yet?) or, if not, why that inn was included in the list Thanks!

Hi everyone, I got my DVD today. I was so excited I stopped cleaning the house and played it. Terrific! I loved it. It was so interesting to see how everything works. The faces on the people that met Loreena were priceless. What a great idea. Thank you so much. ~Kate
GREAT IDEA DARWIN!!! I would like to see a new DVD from Loreena. I saw a man taking films during 3 concerts in Spain...I hope It be for a new DVD....I hope....
I've waited to reply to this, don't know why. It's time to share my view on this DVD. I have always wondered about who Loreena is and how she does what she does and to see a glimpse of her working her magic answers several questions and brings up many more. I was first put off by The Highwayman being abridged. Now it is my favorite recording of the song. With Loreena, I learned not to say, "You should wear these types of clothes'" or "You should sing this way, not that way," Everything she does, I love. The thing I loved most about the DVD was to see her laughing and her band laughing and understanding that no one is perfect. It's was great to see her addressing her fans is such a sweet apprecitive manner, you know she cares about you as much as her music and herself. Her discription of creating a feast is perfect as I always feel nourished after listening to her. Don't you? Now I would love to see what she is like at home taking her dogs on walks in the countryside and so forth. Peace and beauty be with you, Gina

Loreena..you're very lucky for being surrounded by such a talented and warm band and you're very smart:i admire you cause you're able to manage your record company and the administration together with the creative musical process. God bless you, Gianni.

I loved this DVD and so will you!. For me this was the perfect souvenir of the 2007 Ancient Muse Tour. I had front row seats at the Providence RI concert last October. It was a beautiful day and an awesome concert. When we were leaving the venue I noticed the buses lined up on the street along with hundreds of fans. We decided to get in the long line and hope to meet Loreena. With-in a few minutes we heard a door open behind us and out came a camera crew and LOREENA!. We turned around and were suddenly 3rd in line. I could barely speak as we approached her, but her beautiful smile instantly put me at ease. Loreena was so gracious and then she signed my ticket. This was one of those moments you cherish for life, so you can imagine how I felt when I saw myself and my sister in the audience and in line on the DVD!.
Stacey's introduction and description of this musical moveable feast says it all. Thank you Loreena and everyone involved for sharing your more intimate moments is such a perfect way!!!
Regards, Robert

Hello Gianni!! I am sorry that not even this year you have seen her; she will soon come back to Italy, since she has recovered big her career. Moreover the chance to meet her after the concert makes her unique, it had never occurred to me, ever never, and this is great! Nothing enough to thank her! If only two years ago had someone told me that it would happen soon, I would never have believed it….next time come you too!
Si si...non potrò mancare la prox volta!Spero presto
