I am being deliberately imposing, I deeply (if not desperately!) wish for Loreena McKennitt to perform in New York City. I love listening to her recorded live performance in Toronto (as well her other CDs) over and over again, I wish she would plan for a detour to New York City. I can’t believe there are only four days left until her album is released (I placed two orders, one with Barnes & Noble for the exclusive track, and one with Amazon for the common version—yes, I am going a bit over the hill)--I WILL BE THERE IN NEW YORK CITY FOR HER AUTOGRAPH SESSION . Loreena McKennitt, you are such a splendid artist, your music is distinctively magnetic. I am so glad that God Created you so that I can listen to your wonderful music. I'm sorry if I sound so giddy.

Mmhm! One of the main reasons I was excited to hear about the message board here at QR. Finally others who share my love of Loreena's, and other Celtic, music.

I am in firm agreement with having listened to Loreena for over ten years...a trip to the east coast of the United States would be a wonderful treat (for me). New York, Boston...anywhere of interest...I, for one, would be first in line for any of those performances...but would also consider a trip to Canada as well, I suppose especially with what I've heard about "An Ancient Muse."
I have had the same thought go through my head every time I listen to her Live in P&T CD for the past three years. If we hope strongly enough, maybe the cosmos will make it happen!
