It is very difficult to choose because her albums are so different (and hard to compare). However 'An ancient muse' and 'The mask and mirror' are very special to me. 'To drive the cold winter away' is also a very special album.

Hmmmmm.....good question! Actually, I love all of them, but for different reasons. For example, The Visit reminds me of my first time playing golf for my high school team, as well as one of my favourite months, October; Live in Paris and Toronto is reminiscent of summer break. Each of her albums for me has a memory, which makes her music all the more special.

The first time when I've heard Loreena was in 1997 and it was The winter garden. I have started to collect her albums and I can not choose the best. All of them are in this category: the best I ever heard.
I think it's very hard to choose because all of her albums are very very good and wonderful. I think her best work is Book Of Secrets. This is the most-listened cd in my player. And I think Loreena's albums show an evolution from pure celtic music to eclectic world music. Also my other fav album is An Ancient Muse, but I am very fond of Mask And Mirror and The Visit
I like best "The mask and mirror", "the visit" and "The book of secrets". When I listen to them, I travel in distant times and lands... great job, really great job!
