I recorded this last night with a fairly decent microphone at my friend's house... I am not very good but this was fun! The
song is one of my favorites! I wanted to add another layer of harmony but I didn't want to risk messing it up anymore than
it already was! Haha!

By the way, just to clarify (although I'm sure you already figured this out): by that quote I meant
you and me, LMfan, not myself and Loreena! As if I could match her obviously superior skills! (although I suppose
I would have an amazing vocal range if I had been singing for as long as she has been!)

I was actually listening to The Bonny Swans today...but not sung by LM! I brought my new ukulele to school today, just
so I could show off, and sat down outside at recess ('coz I'd run out of people to show off to!) playing and singing The
Bonny Swans to myself (in the key of C...OR if you want to be picky: A minor!)

I got the sheet music as well, and was
also confused but I figured it out soon enough...
And yes, it is in B minor, but Bm is the
relative minor of D isn't it?...

of things, I think we have a similar vocal range, but when I'm playing on the piano most of the time I'll transpose the song
so it does fit my range. for example, The Bonny Swans and The Lady of Shalott are both in D, but I transposed
them down to C so I could hit the higher notes more comfortably, although I think I've accidentally extended my vocal range
recently, and I could probably hit them in the original key now. Most of her songs I can sing quite comfortably in their original
keys such as Dark Night of the Soul, Caravanserai and The Highwayman. Yes, I do play along with heaps
of her songs, perhaps even too many! I just figured out how to play Raglan Road tis morning! That's not as amazing
as it sounds, because I'm just a chord-basher. I didn't actually figure out each individual note that she plays!

great voice! I wouldn't mind hearing any other covers of Lm songs you might just want to arrange.
Thank
you many times!! I have at least two other songs from Loreena I think I could cover without totally butchering
them! And on the range of my voice... it's complicated! haha! But I am tenor... It's not a good situation, I can't
go terribly low or high with good quality. I have a "one octave" range, really, but I'm working on that! It makes singing music by Loreena difficult since she has quite a
few octaves!
Does anyone know how many she actually has?

I
like the second voice very much. Is it yourself or your friend singing that voice?
thank you! I
tried!
it's all me... The second voice is better because I didn't have to hit higher notes, I have a very small range
and do better in lower tones. Lol! it all me though!
Hi LMF!!! Boy every time I turn around there
you are! That's no complaint. Have you shared The Three Ravens" here? If not you should and if you did, I haven't seen
it yet. BB )O(
Oh, almost forgot, you are talented! Haven't I said that enough? I'll never stop!!!
