I and my family spent time in Haiti not too long ago. It was a beautiful country as far as its landscape. The southern most tip has with no doubt the most beautiful beaches this side of Heaven....Pure white sands...deep blue waters...Moving honestly...Inland a different story as we all are very aware. But very kind and friendly people....

I remember this group of young children that circled us much of the time we spent on the beaches there. Sweet little fellas, eyes full of life and just wanting for attention.....At one point one of those young lads dove into the waters by us. He was down for such a time I was getting concerned....He brought up to us this Huge beautiful shell....We have in our home this day....We gave him cash and bag of bubble gum....you should have seen his face...it was just full of charm....I hate to think any harm came to these loving and energetic young people....

May God be with this country in such a time as this...Please stay steadfast in your prayer for these people and all families touched by this very sad turn of events....

Thanks....Be well.....

Is there anything I can do to help that doesn't involve money? Is there an organization I can send goods, like canned food, clean cloths, etc. to?

No one on earth can be in more desperate circumstances. Please donate whatever you feel you can afford to a credible relief group. You can make a real difference today.

Nice post...I pray for them even if, unfortunately, this people need something more than prayers. I hope all of us will be solidarity and try to help those people as much as we can.

That is my prayers (and chants) as well. May the people with caring hearts unite to end the suffering.
