Hello Betty, in my previous post I said that I recorded the festival, but unfortunately I stopped recording when Loreena sang, as I didn't know her as of yet. So, I don't have her performance.

Hi Mask and Mirror about Loreena's Italian performance at the Festival of Sanremo, I can provide you with a bit of info, but unforunately I can't help you with anything more interesting, such as a video or so. Sorry! To be exact she performed Saturday February 25th, 1995 at or around midnight. Why do I know details? For many years I had been recording the last night of the show and did so also that night, but... there's too an enormous "but", as soon as the host (P. Baudo - for us Italians)had introduced Loreena, I stopped recording. I blame myself so much , I can't yet forgive me. It was that I didn't know her at that time. When I discovered of her in Sanremo, at once dusted the recording, but the surprise wasn't good at all. The host said that was time for a foreign artist from Canada, who proposed a magic fusion of ancient sounds, Gothic, Celtic, Spanish and also Arabic sounds. Then he added her music genre was called "world music" and so Loreena appeared on the stage, but I didn't record any longer. What a fool. That's not much, but it's really all.

When will they inform us of a new dates list? I'm anxious to know!

oops..i made a mistake ..yep..it was 1995,not 1994..the mask and mirror was released in 1994,so it would have been impossible for loreena to perform bonny swans on february 1994 Anyway,thank you very much freesoul for your info!i didn't know anything precisely about her performance at sanremo's festival before your recollections..so thank you Don't worry for the fact that you stopped recording just when loreena came on stage..i missed the last italian tour-dates cause,at that moment,i wasn't listening to loreena's music anymore and i'm still blaming myself for this Let's hope she'll come back soon. I'm sorry for your laptop! Anyway..if the staff can provide us with the video let us know please
