I not only introduce my friends and family on to Loreena; but cashiers, waitresses, anyone I feel would benefit from listening; in other words everybody!
I spent about 15 minutes talking to my new dentist about Loreena, not about my teeth. BAM! Another fan!
The best part of introducing Loreena is the look on their faces when they finally hear her sing. They seem not to fully believe me until the hear Loreena and then they fall in love with her. It's too easy.
I do love talking to people about Loreena and sharing her music as it makes their lives that much richer.
May you walk in Beauty,
Gina

It's been only by the current time I observed I still haven't voted it within this topic's poll, even though I let a message reply below this topic's tale; 11 or more would be highly recommended option for myself but I must confess It's been a longer time since I just faded away from the exact number of people whom I've introduced Loreena's beautiful music to - still quite irrelevant fact as the number itself does not present any importance whatsoever; it is in a continually development process and the fact new and new people realised about the inspiring and lovely music of Loreena Mckennitt is what it really matters in the end.

Hi there,

After the 10th referral, I lost count as well. The last I can remember was that I gave a LM CD as a gift to my brother,(even though he was not familiar with her music-only that I kept mentioning her name so many times, when it came to World music) I gave an LM CD as a gift to a good friend of mine, and I think I gave one to my Dad. I have to get him one other one. And I must have mentioned Loreena to my co-workers several times. "You know Loreena McKennitt?" "You know just the other day I was listening to Loreena McKennitt" "Celtic music? yes, if it was a fundraiser with Loreena McKenitt, I would go". Eeker Roll Eyes Big Grin

My goodness, I can't keep count of how many! I can think of at least 8...and there are probably more, I voted for the 11+ option, because by the time I'm finished with all the potential Loreenakateers that I know, there will be a LOT more than 11!

The poll options don't go high enough! I've introduced at least a couple hundred people to the music.

Yes, but on the other hand I've had the pleasure of opportunity and introduced Loreena Mckennitt's fantastical music to a few close friends, although some of them already enjoy and appreciate it since quite a longer time. That was a big surprise for me.

I thought I had introduced her to more, but many had already heard of her. (Reactions varied, but I respect that! Wink)

Hello Jill,

If I've got the slightest opportunity to introduce LM's music to people, I sure don't hesitate. It doensn't matter where I am (at work, on the internet or even at home) and I will keep on doing so. Some of them love her music, and others not as much as we do. I must say that in the weeks after AAM was released, I immediate introduced it to some very close friends and they really loved it. I even bought a friend a CD as a christmas gift.
By the way, I even have invited close friends to join me to see the concert in Roubaix on 5th april. Has anyone else on this messageboard invited friends, kindreds or any other acquaintance to see a concert? Perhaps we can add a poll to the original post? What do you think about it Jill?

Yours respectfully
Joris (France)

We write about many things here, but our main goal must be AAM... It is a new baby...

Are we introducing it to our friends?

Greetings.
