And everyone please remember the homeless this holiday--they aren't lazy bums, many are mentally ill or just plain unlucky. In this time of economic crisis it is a situation that could happen to anyone. And you know, Jesus was born homeless.
And with that I'll say peace to all and I'm off to Wisconsin to visit the family and have a white and very cold Xmas!

Loreena often wears a crucifix..so,i presume she's christian..i don't know if she's catholic, lutheran, evangelical, anglican etc Anyway ,nobody should feel offended here if someone celebrate Christmas cause I hope this forum to be tolerant and democratic towards each cultural identity and religion..I wouldn't feel offended if someone here celebrates Yom Kippur or Ramadan..and i think it would be fair and honest to assure reciprocity.I think religions should communicate and respect each other, but keeping their identities and beliefs firm.I'm afraid of a world without a diversity of cultures and religions,"a levelled world"..it seems to me a degeneration of "Politically Correct".I hope Loreena won't feel "offended".
I hope I have done the quoting thing right. But just to say it's nice when others think about and respect another's believe. Being a Jehovah's Witness I do not celebrate Christmas although a having strong believe in Jesus Christ. I certainly do not take offence if someone wishes me a happy Christmas or a happy anything else. I wish everyone happiness at any time of the year and hope that the world could be as peacful all the year round and not just at this time of year. Bombadil

I don't want to "bicker" about religion as you wrote...but no one can prevent me from saying the word "Christmas" cause there's freedom of speech here(i hope)..so be less rhetorical.

Hello, Shan-Lyn. In response to asking me how did I know Ms. McKennitt is aka Ms. Santa Claus, I have to say that, like Old St. Nicholas, the Lady of Quinlan Road is indeed generous and likes to give presents (that is autographeds and stuff) to her fans and even those who are poor, disabled and downtrodden. Just as the children leave Santa Claus milk and cookies, perhaps we should give Ms. McKennitt some hot peppermint tea and an oatmeal cookie.
God bless, Natalie

Um...I wonder what Quinlan Road Ltd. would be decorated with at Christmas time. I am thinking perhaps Ms. McKennitt has already put a Christmas tree in her office. What do you say, folks?
God bless, Natalie

I really hope this comment didn't offend anyone, I although not being Christian wouldn't be offended by the mention of Christmas, I was just pointing out that it was not the only holiday celebrated here (which probably didn't need saying... ) I also hope the people here are open minded and understand people's differing beleifs, anyway, Happy HolidayS!

Loreenya,
I usually like to create my gifts because giving comes from the Heart Force, and the Heart Force is sacred to me. I think Loreena deserves more than just a 'store-card', and I trust that she already knows that I would wish her the best...from Soul to Soul and Heart to Heart...
May you have a very tranquil and peaceful Christmas.
Warm blessings, Shan-Lyn
Why, thank you, Shan-Lyn, very much. I am glad you know how much I like Enya. Of course I can accept anything that something small like the picture you sent me. I mean it's better than having something special in wrapped boxes with bows. Maybe you'd like to something likewise to Ms. McKennitt. Sometimes she is like a Santa Claus in some ways. (Ha, ha, just kidding.) Anyway, Shan-Lyn, Merry Christmas and may God bless you.
