I've just been talking to Malin on DeviantArt, and we were thinking that it would be AWESOME if Loreena
wrote a song for us, and then we entered Eurovision with it and completely blew all the other contestants out of the water!
(The officials don't have to know that I'm not really Swedish, he he! I'll bleach my hair...)
So, we want your ideas
for a name for our duo, and Mark, do you think that there may even a tiny possibility of this happening? We'd pay her, of
course!
I'll be very interested to see what sort of discussion comes out of this thread!...

Hello all! What a lovely surprise. I've been away from regular internet access over the Christmas/New Year's break, so it's
lovely to be back!
Yes,
Anxious I've had and am still having some musical education! I've extented my abilities recently; where before I played Piano
and Ukulele, I'm now taking singing lessons and trying to produce a half-decent sound out of the Tin Whistle I got for my
birthday last year!
And yes, I'm sure you could join me and Malin! Although of course we wouldn't be able to call ourselves
Jessmalin then ...
Elizabeth
Tudor, I wasn't suggesting that Loreena herself actually participate in the contest - I wouldn't imagine that she's eligible
being from Canada! You are completely right; Eurovision is TRASH, which is why entering with a song written by someone as
talented as Loreena would surely be a strong contender!
Yes, the vast majority of Eurovision acts are thrashy, overly-flamboyant
or the very definition of "cheesy," but it is the biggest music contest in the world and winning or even just making
the finals would look GREAT on a budding performing artist's resumé.
Actually, I love watching it! It's HILARIOUS!
Btw,
I thought Celine Dion represented Switzerland...?
Unforseeable Silence, well, if there are any
updates, they will be in several years when I move to Europe, but you'll all hear about it here first!
Finally, did
anyone hear the UK entry in last year's contest? Corniest song EVER!This message has been edited. Last edited by: Jesse,

It's a fun idea, though I'm
overwhelmed. I wanna join in the band, if there's room! [/quote]
+1, +1...*laughs* I would more than honored to
touch a part of the song's most probably beauty and expressivity through my voice as a dusky key to the room of music dreams
. In a seriously note, I'd paticularly want to congratulate Jess for his wonderful and unique idea - I do believe it is all
worthwhile as long as you will take care to wrap your plan in the breeze of blithsome hopes and, out of the blue, do not permit
sadness or discouragement of eventual typical to the last two mentioned elements comments to take you away with them as I
could feel your discouragement from one of your posts in this current topic. Good luck and keep us all updated!

But let's just simply remember one of the best examples when the wonderful and more or less similar to Loreena's music through
the same beautiful expressivity music compositions band, Secret Garden, which surprisngly took the good decision to take part
of the contest and the victoriuos song was played for them eventually. Never say never is one of Loreena's magical rules very
well stated on her official website.

I thik that no one is interested in this discussion because - well. Eurovision and Loreena are two things
that cannot go together, no matter how you turn it. Eurovision is Trash, Loreena is Class. :P I know that Celine Dion participated
representing France, but I don't think Loreena would ever do such a thing. If you want Sweden to win, ask Mr. Andersson
and Mr. Ulvaeus. As far as I know, they're always after money, money, money!
Btw,
Germany is hosting the ESC next year... I feel so honoured... not.
hehe oh poor Jesse...I thought about that but then it must have slipped my mind. lol I reckon that would be a great idea. But I can't think of any names...
