I was wondering if any of you draw or paint or create any artwork like that?
I think it would be a very neat idea to start a thread dedicated to art that has been inspired by Loreena.
At that, I'll give you a link to a picture that I've drawn recently! I like it, even though it's not perfect. It is of Loreena, of course, and I hope you like it! (You might want to click the "Full view" option to see the picture better, as it is rather small on the page)

You are very talented Ysbryd!! I love your style. I do watercolors (fantasy art ) and have done many pieces while listening to loreena's music which has been a great inspiration. I have not done any portraits of her tho. Maybe I will.

I think they're inspiring. Big Grin

I think that's a really cool idea! I never thought about trying to do a person's portrait in stones before. Hmm.

Of course when I said "artwork" I meant writing as well! I should have said so. Writing is an art in itself. Big Grin

Your poem is so beautiful! It has a rhythm to it that's fantastic. It made me smile! You're a very talented writer. Smiler

And thank you for the comment about my drawing. Wink

Thank you very much, Lisette! I'm very glad that you like it. Smiler

I just used a mechanical pencil to draw that picture, nothing professional.

I find clothes very challenging, as well as hair, so I appreciate your comment!

Hello Ysbryd, that's a very good painting you made. What kind of pencils did you use? Is it charcoal?

Anyhow I love the way you have drawn the clothes.

Thank you so much everyone, I'm glad that you all like it. Smiler Your comments make me feel so special!

It's also great that you're artists as well...that just makes this little community of people even better! Big Grin

I'm really looking forward to seeing some stuff from you, if you're willing to put it up!

Do you think it would be a good idea to send a copy of the drawing to Loreena? I would send her the original, but I drew it as a gift to a very close friend... Confused
