A couple of months ago, I composed this prayer to God for Loreena McKennitt. Let me know what you think about it. So, let us pray:

"Dear God, Whose abode is of clouds that are haloed with the sun's gold rays, cast Your tender eyes on Your lowly servant, Loreena McKennitt, who bears a veil of red and a great stature that shall defend even the most vulnerable of Your children. You gave her a mind abundant with intellect and wisdom, a soul soft as cotton but sturdy as timber, and a heart of courage, for she is a lion whose angelic roar can be heard all over Canada and the world. O Gracious One, bestow on she who dwells in a place where the swans glide and hears the voice of Shakespeare the many graces as she could count the stars. May she be sheltered beneath the palm of Your gentle hand; may Loreena's soul be like the waves lapping on a Nova Scotia coastline; may she be strong and steadfast as a mountain in British Columbia; may she, O Lord, slumber serenely beneath Your deep blue heavens that You have created; may You spare her from the Enemy; may the breeze that flies over a Manitoba prairie give her refreshment and allow her spirit to fly over her troubles. May whatever Your child, Loreena McKennitt, does to others be a manifestation of Your love, through her charity and kindness. To You, O God, into Your hands, I commend her soul. O, give peace to her breast that she sing peace in her breast, singing in her heart to You and praising You forever. Amen.
