First, my congratulations to Loreena. And now: what a beatiful speech! I almost cried (and it's a very rare thing)! But I bet if i was there, i would have cried a lot! But this speech really touched me, this made me think about our importance, our place here. And about Loreena as well. I always imagined all the hard work she had to be where she is now. I'm sure she fought hard and went through many difficulties to be this woman she is now (I believe that through more difficulties than many who got their diplomas). And this is just another reason why I admire Loreena.

It's quite amazing that one can achieve degrees from universities without attending a class. I am proud of what Loreena has accomplished and very happy to see that her talents and knowledge has been recognized. It took me a good half hour reading her speech as I cannot afford $500 to get a pdf program downloaded. I have the basic Adobe program, but that is not good enough; so I end up reading fast and move the pop-up window to finish the reading the page then exit and start all over scrolling down to get to the next section. I love what Loreena had to say and what she shared with the students. I do hope those students take it to heart. She is an amazing woman with amazing talents. I am so happy to have her music in my life. Love, Gina
