Thankyou for not ignoring me! lilymaid - thankyou for your veiws. a very good point. you have to admit though: Tolkien + McKennit should = AWESOME SONG!!! Your welcome! Gina - What? you mean Loreena's version of "The Lady of Shalott" isn't the whole thing? yikes! well, do you know how many verses there are in the original poem? if you did, I might be able to give you a rough 'guesstimate' I'm not sure what poem I'd like set to music, I'm not actually a big fan of poetry, I just made this poll as I am however, a HUGE fan of Tolkien! I think all these poems are fantastic. if you would like to get to know these and other Tolkien poems a little better, go to www.poemhunter.com/jrr-tolkien

Hello Jesse!!! I cannot vote because I don't know those poems good enough to choose. Now, if you had A. A. Milne up there or Dr. Seuss, then I could be more of a help to you. I never got into poetry until I heard Loreena sing them, so this is not my area of expertise I am afraid. I did come across an old movie that Loreena would be perfect for; Truly Scrumptious in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang because she is truly scrumptious!!! Yes, in case you're wondering, I refuse to grow up (at least all the way ) By the way how long do you think "The Lady of Shalott" would be if she sang the entire poem? What poem would you like to see set to music? Peace, love, and beauty, Gina

Hi Jesse!!
I love Tolkien literature too, but I think that he is a very well-known author all around the world (Lord of the rings, The Hobbitt...), and I think that is more interesting that Loreena write songs from other poets not as famous as Tolkien, like Tennyson, Noyes, Scott, Rumi... that are known in their countries, but in other countries (like Spain) are not so known, and it´s a well opportunity for all her fans to know this fantastic literature, that it´s quite difficult to know by your own way.
Thank You!!^^
