I think the best period is lately July or very early August (at least I can say the last 2 years was the best)..These days are the best in Andros with no wind ...The all other days of summer, the weather is not so good and the wind is very strong in Andros (and in Kythira by the way)..

If u look for islands with peaceful weather I suggest you the islands in Ionion Sea (Kefalonia etc)...

Thanks Maurizio...Greek Islands are the perfect destination for every traveller... I suggest you next time,visit the Andros island too (where I come from) which is very close to Athens and has beatiful beaches and good people (and very good traditional foods hehe).

Loreena seems to love Greek Islands too..As far as i know she spent an Orthodox Easter week on the island of Chios in 2002.. I hope she will visit us again soon !!
