(-hope it is the first topic on this forum related to holidays as main subject, otherwise I would like to please moderators/admins to decided themselves about the actual valability of this one.

"Whither thou goest, I shall go - translated in modern English: "Where you go, I will go." So we would be suppose to talk about journeys over here. As the winter holiday is on it's way with small but sure steps, I thought it would be a rather bright idea to have a brand new topic where we can discuss our dreams vis-a-vis to beautiful places where we would like to sail toward in the future or where we will absolutely go and visit and have an enjoyable through all the wonderful experiences.

Within a very few days, I shall go to visit Vienna *it's not one of the first visits by far ~ but I definitely still have to find a lot of interesting new places to discover and explore around the fabulous city ; each time is a well surprising experience I'd rather say. I shall also have a more periodically internet connection (hopefully) but I want to see the good side of things and that's a very good way of appreciating and reflecting over those special moments. What about all of you ? I wish you all happy holidays by the way !

Since I've been periodically moving to Vienna ever since September 2010, the fact I decided myself to come back to Romania's currently snow native surroundings was a very touching moment - a very special holiday just for me. I must say it wasn't just the fact of a strong emotion as a reaction to the first time in three months seeing all of these places again but also getting the unique chance of sharing some warm and good moments with my grandparents kindness meeting; I do believe all these journey - holidays time we do roaring seed in our garden of emotions are very relevant to one's eartly cares eliberation and finding the peace inside instantly. What about all of you?

I've been visiting for more or less a week Vienna again & I manage to buy through many other wonderful things Loreena Mckennitt's 'A Mummers' Dance Through Ireland...' album. I really love it and I was very glad to add it to my music collection. Snow was still present there, around, although it started to fade away in the last two days. It was a fantastic Viennese experience of course.

Yup, yup...it's a really beautiful place (and the cherry on the cake: it's almost always raining absolutely lovely). Cool

It was last night when I finally returned from my winter holiday and all I got to say is: w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l ! Really ! Santa Claus brought me a lot of snow and the opportunity of visiting Budapest and Vienna again. Such a very beautiful and energetic cities. One may always to discover new places and definitely delight their eyes with superb landscapes. Hope everyone enjoyed the winter time !

I'm going to Sweden this winter. To spend christmas with family.
Though it's always the same place and the same old family, it's always different.
So nice to spend time with family. To hear what they experienced since last time.

Hope you all have a nice Christmas. Big Grin

As for travels, Hopefully this summer (right after graduation), I can go to Ireland! I've always wanted to go there, and visit the counties that my great grandparents were from (I can't remember which ones, particularly, but I'll look it up tomorrow!)

As for the holliday season, however, I have nowhwere to go! (Yay!) But I can't say that it will be a quiet Christmas. Because of my puppy, we can't put up the tree until we put up a gate! And we might be having family over (I know my mom's side is coming over, but I don't know exactly who is.) I earned my letter in golf this year, so I hope I can pick out my letterman's jacket soon!

Happy Hollidays, everyone!
