Hello

the more I listen to the live version of Santiago (in Alhambra) the more I love that song...The version on the dvd is wonderful... the band and Loreena are simply perfect !!!

It completely drives me to that romantic town of history and mistery.

If you visit Spain, you MUST visit Santiago de Compostela, in Galicia. It is impossible to describe it with words... you must discover and live it... But, be careful !! Santiago can steal your soul and heart and they could remain there forever: I suffered that 15 years ago and now I need to spend at least 4 days every year in Santiago to feel well and relaxed the rest of the year...

Only Loreena could catch the essence of Santiago de Compostela and express it through a song...

Santiago de Compostela at sunset, with the rain falling over its ancient stones and Loreena´s music in the air is... my paradise...

Thank you, Loreena.

I hope to see you in Spain in July.

Love

Hello Martín! I agree with you; to see the musicians perform live (on a dvd or in reality) makes the music somehow even better.
I think the Santiago performance on the dvd is very special, because I simply love when Loreena jumps (which also should be seen live.) Hahaha... what a cool lady.

Hola Martin Smiler
I often listen to ‘Beneath a Phrygian Sky’ in the evening just before I go to sleep, like you . It is very relaxing, indeed.
One of my favourite records is ‘Compostela Ad Vesperas Sancti Jacobi’ by Ensemble Organum. Santiago de Compostela has a spiritual beauty and it is also very inspiring. I’ve never been there, it is lucky for you that you have an opportunity to visit Santiago every year and derive spiritual power from so special place. You`ll take a great pleasure from listening Loreena’s ‘Santiago’ live. Certainly such performance of the song is rousing. I listened to it in Berlin last year and hope to listen this year again
Greetings from Poland

Santiago is indeed a wonderful piece...one of my favorites in fact. (Oh, who am I kidding ...they're all my favorite.)

My family and I saw the concert in Chicago. Of course Loreena and the band are beyond compare but after Hugh Marsh's phenomenal performance my 13 year old son leaned over to me and asked, "Is he possessed?!?!"

I thought it was funny...and I replied, "No, just talented as h*ll." Smiler

You need the Live in Paris/Toronto album. The Santiago there shreds...
