I love Lisa! I think my favourite song by her is "Song to Inanna" it's so entrancing. I've never seen her live (I hope Loreena will be my first concert) I am feeling much better! and you have an email about a certain drawing of a certaing goddess quote: Originally posted by Gina: OH MY GODDESS!!!! LMFAN, you like Lisa too? I think we are the only 2 on this board who know her!!! I love her songs and use them a lot. Have you seen her? I have a couple of times at Women of Wisdom and she can entice you with her magic. Glad you are feeling better!!! Love, Gina

Hi Jesse Yes I like the Corrs too... My father says there must be celtic, irish or scottish anes in me... O.o o.O quote: Originally posted by Jesse: I love all kinds of music except for classical and metal (honestly, who came up with metal anyway: I think it's such an awful, angry-sounding style...and it's so bad for your vocal cords!) other than Loreena, I love the Corrs, Sons of Korah, Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, Jesse McCartney, Teddy Geiger and the Idea of North. I'd love to know who else likes any of these...

I have yet to reply to this because I'm no good at list and will forget someone but here goes. *note Loreena is definately my most listened to artist and I love her above all others but I also have a rather eclectic taste musically and like many others Emilie Autumn Nightwish Evanesence Enya Moya Brennan Alan Stivell Meav Orla Lisa Thiel Inkubus Sukkubus Three Wierd Sisters *the only rapper I like Missy Elliot I also love the Blues and Jazz but usually listen to those on television and I'm not sure who all of the singers are...

Stellamara - You must check them out, think of Loreena's song Kecharitomene, but a more Balkan version - that's the kind of music they make, and it's gorgeous Enya Moya Brennan Ulrich Schnauss Celtic Woman Schiller And loads more

Hi, this is a good question. Apart from Loreena McKennitt, i listen to rock music mainly as it is the music i got into first as a kid. But my tastes are varied as i think it's important to give musical creations "a try". Lately i've been listening to old favourites: Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin... Cinderella (do you remember them? i'm a huge fan who collects their music *blushes*) A band named Naked Beggars (with the bass player of Cinderella). It's a great rock'n'roll band. You can hear some of their tunes at their myspace pages: http://www.myspace.com/nakedbeggars and http://www.myspace.com/officialnakedbeggarsI hope you don't mind me doing this little promotion on here , but i try to help promote their music, like i do for Loreena on other forums or in conversations. Another band i love is Tapping The Vein (http://www.myspace.com/tappingthevein). They are a dark rock band, with a touch of goth, electro and a great vocalist. Paradise Lost Lisa Gerrard Dead Can Dance Sigur Ros Noa Joni Mitchell Traditional songs and tunes from chivalry, troubadours and religious chants from the Antiquity to the Middle Ages Oooh the list could go on, i don't want to bother you with it. Hopefully we will share some good musical "findings" amongst us .
