Hi
Good question. My tastes, like the others is quite eclectic.

Apart from Loreena of course, there's:
U2
Tangerine Dream
Muse
Pink Floyd
Brian Eno
Yes
Nightwish
Slayer
Static-X
Lisa Gerrard
Nine Inch Nails
Mike Oldfield
Phillip Glass
Classical composers esp. Beethoven, Debussy, Ravel
Ambient Various artist compilation including Robert Rich, Steve Roach, Terry Riley
Vangelis
Jean Michel Jarre.

How does all that sound?

Warm greetings from Łódź.!

Thank you for warm greetings. I'm afraid there is no adequate venue for Loreena concert in Poland, what do you think?
BTW, I have close relatives in Łódź Smiler

I'm glad to see you too. I think aboot buying tickets for Loreena in Berlin, but it would cost a lot just to get there, not that I'm not motivated enough Smiler

I have a new favorite:
R. Carlos Nakai
He is a master of the Native American flute and has been around for some time now. He is Navajo/Ute and the most successful Native American musican.
He is very connected to the land and of the spirit which in turns connects you closer too when listening to him.
Enjoy,
Gina

Wow, I did not know that Loreena McKennitt has a distant relative or cousin in Poland.

I'm only related "in spirit" not "in flesh". In other words - Miranda McKennitt is just a persona, not real person. :-}

Hi again...

I forgot to tell you about how I got Cyndi Lauper.

We're doomed! Earth will fall apart...

Well back in line...
I was about to tell you how I came across one of the most fantastic musicians I have ever had.
Cyndi Lauper
The 2 last years of my ground school (9. and 10.) I spent at a boarding school.
We had 3 different room mades during a year.
And the 3. of these girls I shared room with, 2. year, had left a CD in our player. I accidently turned it on.
And out came a song I seldom shall forget.
"I'm Gonna Be Strong"

When ever I think the world is against me, I put on this song.
That song means so much to me. As do many of Cyndi Laupers other songs.

And now I have the music of Loreena McKennitt aswell! Smiler
Wow!
I feel so overwelmed that I am so lucky to have all this great music around me.

A very greatful Anxious
