Hello everybody! Two weeks ago I made a short trip to this wonderful country which is full of green landscapes and nice people. I have to say I like the fact that they preserve their culture and environment...and they profit from that! It was great to be in touch with the 'new Celts' and I think we have to learn a lot from them, I hope you all enjoy these photos! You can view them here:

All the best,

MANEL

Hello! First of all, thank you for sharing this information about these marble stones, it sounds very interesting, I didn't notice that but the guide in the castle told us some intriguing things about the family who owned the castle, they loved so much the view of the landscape that is in front of their castle that they obliged their servants to go from one extreme of the castle to the other one through a tunnel in order to preserve the view of that landscape!
All the best,
MANEL

Ha,ha,ha!! Nice reply, Betty, honestly I don't know if there's any place like this, but if you come here don't forget to visit the Modernist buildings, Modernism is a wonderful style (Gaudí was a modernist architect who designed the Sagrada Família / Holy Family), the Roman city (Barcino) is also interesting to see in the Museum of History...but sorry, no templars here from what I know!!!! Big Grin
Hugs,
MANEL

Hello everybody! I'm glad you liked the photos, it's a pleasure to share them. Yesterday I visited the website in Spanish 'La Reina Celta', which is placed in Yahoo Groups, I have found a lot of interesting material and I've been able to read a lovely interview made in 1999! It's also nice to know you've been in Ireland, although I'm not a beer lover I agree that their black beer is good (and they serve very big dishes in restaurants!), I also enjoyed the environment of the pubs when they were playing traditional music in the night. Thank you all for your comments!

Beautiful pictures Manel. I was in Ireland last June and I visited almost the same places as you. It was my second visit to the emerald island and I'm thinking when I will be able to go there again. I love the landscape, the people, the music and the black beer Wink
I wish I knew how to put my pictures in internet as you have done. There are some of them in 'La Reina Celta' site, go there so we can speak in Cervantes language Smiler
