If you want a christmas recording it would be A Winter Garden, which I think is great! It is a short recording, but the songs are very beautiful! Loreenas version of "God reste ye merry, gentleman" sounds faboulous! But also, the recording "To drive the cold winter away" is very christmas Big Grin
If it doesn't matter if it is christmas or not, you should get "Parallel dreams". It's magical.

Hugs Big Grin

hi all, Smiler

in my opinion " Live in Paris & Toronto " and
" The Book of Secrets " are essential.
But i prefer the "live", it get you right there, it is very expressive and deep, you feel her grief and then she sang with bad-temperedly... Songs are masterly!!!! Wink
The band is fabulous.

Well, good luck to the choice Wink

Well, "To Drive the Cold Winter Away" and "A Winter Garden" are Christmas albums and both are excellent. If you just wanted to give one CD that would express the essence of LM, I would personally pick "The Visit" or "The Book of Secrets", but that is very much an individual choice.
